Show me another »Quick cellulite solution?
Im only 99 pounds, but im 4'11, and the cellulite loves my thighs!!! I carry all my excess weight in my tummy and butt... i know loosing weight helps, but id have to be a stick for it to start fading... any quick solutions for cellulite?

No. There are no solutions to it, matter of fact. Cellulite is the term we give to the appearance on the skin. Cellulite is the result of how your body is storing the fat, too close under the connective tissue supporting the skin itself. The pressure is unevenly shown on the outer skin as the orange peel look we all love. How the fat is stored and where is determined by your genetics, and you can't change those directions. You can tone the underlying muscle, and maintain fitness and weight, but that's about it. Creams, lotions and potions do not work, as they can't get to the fat itself. Anything that would dissolve the fat would do a number on the overlying skin, as well. Liposuction doesn't work well, because the process damages the connective tissue, leaving pits and dimples of it's own. And whatever fat is removed simply gets replaced, because the directions say that's where it goes. It's a lose-lose situation. Sorry, but that's the facts. If anyone ever does come up with a real solution they are going to be multi-bazillionaires.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.
The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.
The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic. Also, most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.
